3 April update: Awesome Home Services - Mike T is fantastic! Needed some electrical work done and contacted Awesome Home Services. The electrician, Mike T, was outstanding. He installed two outlets and was incredibly detailed about the work he was performing. What really stood out was his patience in discussing future projects and providing estimates – he answered all my questions thoroughly. Very professional service from start to finish. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mike T to friends and family.
Tristen B. handled a major plumbing overhaul for me today, essentially replacing most components barring the pipes themselves. Throughout this significant project, Tristen demonstrated exceptional professionalism. He proactively showed me the work as it progressed and took the time to thoroughly explain the necessary upkeep for all the new installations. My experience with Awesome was Awesome
We recently ordered a new dishwasher and it seems we had the wrong type of valve connections for the water line under our sink for the hookup. I'd read the great reviews Awesome Home Services has received so far, so I thought I'd give the company a try. We called yesterday to set up an appointment and they could send someone out today. The technician Tristan arrived on time with great communication from the team and he was so professional and friendly. He was able to quickly install the correct valves or valve covers we needed and gave a fair cost estimate. I even got a discount that I was pleased to receive! Hope for the human race restored
I will start by saying that customer service today is absolutely gone. Even at a fast food drive-through, they ask for a tip...the greed of corporations today is beyond fathoms.
I called 8 places around 3:30 in the afternoon to get someone out to assist me because my attempts to repair a simple PVC connection going to my water heater proved to be a showerless, waterless, 2-day nightmare. All these places quoted me from $300 - $500 to have someone come out because it was considered after hours...and almost all of them could not get anyone out to see me until the following morning. I was at the end of my rope and decided to try one last place, "Awesome Home Services." I was like...awesome? We'll see about that...
They got Kyle out to me within the hour...and it was $89.00...AND...if I agreed to have any repair done...that would go towards the cost of the repair. I was like, "NO!"...they were like..."YES!" So Kyle came over and took a look at my attempt(s) to repair the issue by using multiple adapters (4) to try going from the incoming PVC pipe to the 3/4" metal line going into my water heater. He essentially smiled and said, "I get it...been there myself." The key to this reaction is that he didn't make me feel less than, like so many people do these days. I immediately knew I was not going to get taken advantage of and was able to relax, as he started the work. I won't go into extreme detail, but his assurances were genuine, and I couldn't tell he wasn't going to stop until it was repaired. People like this are rare these days, and I was very pleasantly surprised. He even had to run to the store and snag a part for the decided upon repair to make sure things were done correctly. Mind you, this was WAY past the time he should have gotten to go home. Then, after all this, I explained that I borrowed some money from my dad to do this, but that if at all possible, would I be able to be billed for the rest. Well...Kyle spoke to his people and explained my situation (again, I won't go into detail, but I have been looking for work for a while and have been...financially challenged). He then reported that he would be making the repair for the amount that I had!!! WHAT?!
I think, at that point, I might have regained just a tad of hope for the human race. (I did not ACTUALLY soil myself...FYI).
I was 100% relieved and 100% satisfied and added Awesome Home Services to my address book...I will be using them and so will everyone else I know. Hiring Kyle was a great call by Awesome Home Services...and he even told me to call in and let them know I am looking for work! He said they might be looking for dispatchers.
I am blown away by the kindness, non-judgmental, empathetic, and professionalism that Kyle displayed. I know not everyone or every situation calls for a discount like the one they were able to give...but at this time in my life...Kyle and Awesome Home Services came through in an age when the world is in chaos.
I am proud to have met Kyle and glad I used this company!

Highly Recommended for Plumbing Needs
Clay from Awesome Home Services has been superb, and extremely helpful with my situation regarding the plumbing in my rental home. He was able to provide a forthcoming reason for the issues I have been experiencing that make far more sense than reasons I've received from other plumbers. He diagnosed that I had both high pressure build-up that was secondary to the hard water that was running through my lines. He was very accommodating and worked well around my schedule to get matters remedied as soon as I had the financial means to do so. When my water heater was leaking into my basement, he answered the call right away, and got the situation under control and manageable. He has come to the house on a number of occasions as I needed him, mostly for pressure matters as it relates to my water heater. He was always direct and bluntly honest (in a good way) about what he diagnosed and what was needed to fix the issue. He doesn't beat around the bush, and is very serious about his work. He replaced pressure valves, installed a water softener unit on the water main, and replaced the expansion tank attached to the water heater. He will eventually be doing other work for me in the future as I have the means to do it. Clay is not interested in leading anyone astray, and has demonstrated to me that he can be very trustworthy. He's always ready at the helm to tackle anything that comes his way. Clay, with Awesome Home Services, is highly recommended for all your plumbing needs.
